Blonde Ring Teal
Blonde Ring Teal is a color mutation of the Ringed Teal and are a popular breed with hobbyists. The male Blonde Ring Teal has pale orange patches on his back and is lighter in color than the normal colored males. They have gray, green, and pinkish feathering with black speckles and a dark ring around the back of the neck. Both male and female have blue bills and pink legs and feet. Females are brown and tan with light markings. These small ducks are easy to raise and are successful breeders. They are perching ducks and nest in trees. Blonde Ring Teal form pair bonds. They have a long breeding season and typically produce clutches of 5 to 10 eggs. They can live for 10 to 15 years.
