Red Golden Pheasants, often called the Golden Pheasant or Chinese Pheasant, are hardy birds that are easy to raise. They are considered one of the most beautiful and ornate pheasants in the world. The male Red Golden Pheasant dons a bright red body; yellow eyes; gold bill, crest, back, and legs; a green upper back; and a lustrous blue on its wings. He wears a cape of golden feathers in layers edged with black. Female Red Golden Pheasants are dull brown in color.
